Aluminium and Stainless Primer solves the problem of getting paint to hold on difficult metals. Smooth, non-ferrous surfaces give a coating almost nothing to bite into, which is why topcoats applied directly to them tend to lift. This fast-drying etch primer bonds chemically to the metal and leaves a surface that later coats can grip with confidence. It is designed for aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised surfaces, bare steel and chrome, and it accepts both 1K and 2K primers and topcoats. Note that etch primers should not be used beneath polyester systems. Ideal for metal fabrication, automotive panels and restoration work.
