Plastic Primer
Plastic Primer is the reason your topcoat stays where you put it. Paint applied directly to bare plastic has very little to grip, and the result is peeling and flaking not long after the job looks finished. This adhesion promoter creates the chemical key that bridges plastic and paint, locking the coating to the substrate. It goes on as a thin, near-invisible layer and dries quickly, so it adds very little time to the process. Suitable for most automotive plastics, though pure polyethylene remains difficult for any primer. Ideal for bumpers, trim, spoilers, mirror housings and plastic components. Prime it properly and it stays on — available from Spray District.
